“Look the look, talk the talk and walk the walk” is the foundation of this workshop that emphasises the importance of being authentic, confident and empowered in how you present yourself and behave. This workshop will cover three elements – Personal Styling, Personal Branding and Trust Building – Look, Talk and Walk.
The “Look the Look” segment will cover your outward appearance and how you present yourself visually to the world. It includes aspects such as clothing, grooming, posture and overall style. “Looking the look” means dressing and grooming appropriately for different situations, maintaining good hygiene and presenting yourself in a way that aligns with your personal brand – who you truly are. It also includes reflecting the visual image of your organisation without compromising your personal style. A polished appearance can enhance confidence, make positive impressions, and contribute to personal and professional success.
The “Talk the Talk” segment goes beyond appearance. How you communicate verbally, and claims you make about yourself and the organisation you represent, play a crucial role in how others perceive you. Talking the talk means being able to express yourself authentically, clearly, confidently and effectively. It involves using appropriate language for different contexts, being articulate in expressing ideas and opinions, and engaging in meaningful conversations. Effective communication skills are essential in building trustworthy relationships, conveying professionalism, and advancing in your career.
The “Walk the Walk” segment focuses on your actions and behaviours, emphasising the importance of aligning your words with your actions. Walking the walk means demonstrating integrity, consistency, and reliability in your actions. It involves living up to your claims and promises, following through on commitments, and exhibiting ethical behaviour in both personal and professional settings. Actions speak louder than words, and walking the walk builds trust, credibility, and respect among peers, colleagues, and clients.
